A cooperative (co-op) is a community-driven buying group where members pool their purchasing power to get better prices, priority access, and shared resources. At Graceful Homesteading, our co-op is built for folks who are serious about self-sufficiency — whether you're raising animals, crafting by hand, or making your own soap from scratch.

🛒 You Shop at Regular Retail Price

When you place an order through the co-op, you pay the standard retail price — same as you'd see anywhere else. No upfront membership fees, no guessing games.

🤝 We Pool Orders & Negotiate Bulk Deals

Behind the scenes, we're combining member orders and going back to suppliers to negotiate bulk pricing. The more neighbors who join in, the more leverage we have — and the better the deals we can land.

💸 Savings Come Back to You — Almost All of It

When we secure a lower price, the savings pass straight through to you. We keep just 5% of the retail price to cover coordination time, logistics, and keeping this co-op running. That's it. Every other dollar of savings is yours.

Sign up for auto-fill reordering and that fee drops to just 3% — because you're making our logistics easier, and we pass that savings right back to you.

👓 Real Example: One Bag of Chicken Feed

10 laying hens go through roughly 1 bag of feed per month — that's about 12 bags a year. Here's what co-op membership puts back in your pocket:

• Standard co-op rate (5%): $2.40 × 12 bags = $28.80 saved per year
• Auto-reorder rate (3%): $2.84 × 12 bags = $34.08 saved per year
